Privacy Notice
This notice explains how PotBhar POS handles personal data submitted through potbharpos.in. It is written to support transparent processing under applicable Indian law, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as its operative provisions come into force.
Who is responsible for your data
PotBhar POS is the Data Fiduciary for personal data collected through this website. Privacy and grievance queries can be sent to the Grievance Officer, PotBhar POS at potbharpos@gmail.com or +91 98504 33750.
Personal data we collect
- Contact form: name, email address, phone number, city, and restaurant or business name.
- Communications: information you voluntarily include in emails, calls, demo requests, or support conversations.
- Basic technical information supplied automatically by hosting and security providers, such as request timestamps, IP address, browser type, and security logs. We do not use this website to collect sensitive payment-card credentials.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry, arrange a product demonstration, and discuss onboarding or pricing.
- To provide requested support and maintain records of our communications.
- To protect the website, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and comply with lawful obligations.
- To send marketing messages only where you have asked for them or where otherwise permitted by law. You may opt out at any time.
Consent and withdrawal
When you submit the enquiry form, you affirmatively agree that PotBhar POS may process the listed details to respond to your request. You can withdraw that consent by emailing potbharpos@gmail.com. Withdrawal does not affect processing already lawfully completed, and we may retain information where required by law or needed to establish or defend legal claims.
Sharing and processors
We do not sell your personal data. We may use service providers strictly to operate the website and handle enquiries, including Supabase for database hosting, Vercel for website hosting and delivery, and email or telecommunications providers when we respond. These providers process data under their own contractual and security obligations and may operate infrastructure outside India, subject to applicable transfer restrictions.
Retention
Unconverted sales enquiries are ordinarily reviewed for deletion or anonymisation within 24 months after the last meaningful interaction. Customer, invoice, support, security, and legal records may be retained longer where necessary for the service, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or a legal obligation. Data is erased or anonymised when its purpose ends and no lawful retention need remains.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including access controls, encrypted network transport, restricted database read access, software updates, and service-provider security controls. No internet system is risk-free; if a personal-data breach requires notification, we will provide notices in accordance with applicable law.
Your choices and rights
- Ask for a summary of personal data being processed and relevant processing activities.
- Request correction, completion, updating, or erasure of eligible personal data.
- Withdraw consent and stop optional marketing communications.
- Raise a grievance with our designated contact and, where legally available, escalate an unresolved complaint to the Data Protection Board of India.
- Nominate another person to exercise applicable rights in the event of death or incapacity, when the relevant DPDP provisions apply.
Children
This business website and PotBhar POS are intended for restaurant owners, managers, and staff acting in a professional capacity. We do not knowingly solicit personal data from children. Contact us if you believe a child has submitted information.
Updates and language
